Kidz Books has been online since June 2000. With around 4000 books in stock, we have all sorts of books for all sorts of people - not just kidz! There are books here for teachers, collectors, parents and children of all ages. In fact, we hope that anyone who loves kidz books will find something of interest here. Look out for these symbols as you search.

Most of our books are used however we do have many brand new books in stock. Books listed are used unless otherwise stated. Our books are described thoroughly, and any faults or defects are noted. We also give an overall grade according to their condition using Book And Magazine Collector grades, as follows.

• Mint: Book is absolutely perfect in every respect.
• Fine: An excellent copy. Looks unread. May be brand new with very minor shelf-wear. May be a new copy signed by author.
• Very Good: Slightly less than fine condition. Apart from slight foxing, fading or very minor edgewear, book has no faults. May have name or inscription.
• Good: Book shows average wear and tear but is complete in all respects. May be missing endpapers.
• Fair: Book is worn but has all pages present. May be missing endpapers; half-title, etc. Dust jackets will normally be heavily worn with serious defects.
• Poor: Poor condition with many faults. Text complete. Normally purchased as a filler or reading copy until a better copy can be found.
• Ex-library/Book Club Editions: ALL ex-library or book club editions of a book will be identified as such, regardless of condition.

As you probably know, we face a huge struggle to answer all the calls that children make to us. We worry about the children who ring ChildLine but can’t get through – they may have nowhere else to turn, and they may never call back. By enabling us to answer more calls, your donation will make a big difference. For that, I’d like to say a heart-felt thank you from ChildLine and the children you will help.

• A donation of 30 children's books was delivered safely to Algeria in August 2005. It was decided that the books would be best placed in a public library where many families and schools can borrow them.

Once you have found a book you wish to purchase, add it to the shopping cart. You may then continue shopping or proceed to check out online.

If you have any problems using the shopping cart, you can also reserve books by send us a message. After this, we will tell you what to do. We accept orders from anywhere in the world however orders from outwith the UK may be subject to extra shipping and currency conversion charges - the full price will always be quoted in advance by e-mail.

Post and Packing is charged using standard An Post prices. If you wish your books to be posted by recorded delivery, please state when reserving your books. Books will be despatched within 5 days of receipt of payment.

We accept cash in Sterling or Euros or Paypal. All Payments should be made to 'Avital Dines'. Paypal payments should be done via the Kidz Books cart. Cheques in pounds sterling and UK postal orders by arrangement.

For any reason if you would like to return the book you have purchased, we will refund the full cost of the book or exchange it for another title, provided we are notified of your intentions within fifteen days. The delivery charges will not be refunded. If you would like to exchange the book please note that we will charge you the delivery cost. Customers statutory rights are not affected by the returns policy. Any returns should be clearly addressed to:
